Curriculum Guides
Lindbergh’s curriculum development process begins with research, identifying each content’s current best practices and providing direction for the future. The Teaching and Learning Board Advisory Committee, comprised of parents and students, advises faculty on community and student needs to guide the curriculum writing process. While revising the curriculum, teachers identify priority standards to ensure focused learning opportunities.
Lindbergh’s online curriculum guides provide an overview of what students are learning throughout the school year. Each content area includes a course description, goals and objectives for student learning, and the Missouri standards covered in each unit. Lindbergh’s curriculum review process involves research, revision, implementation and assessment, and is designed to develop a comprehensive curriculum for all students. All content areas are reviewed on a six-year rotating schedule.
