Individual Career and Academic Plan

The Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) is a “roadmap” that helps students develop the awareness, knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need to create meaningful pathways to be success-ready graduates.

The ICAP is a multi-year process, beginning no later than the eighth grade. This intentionally guides students and families in the exploration of career, academic, and multiple post-secondary opportunities, which ultimately results in direct access to the workforce, military, tech schools or area career centers, vocational training or apprenticeships, 2-year colleges, and/or 4-year colleges.
