About Board Advisory Committees

Board of Education advisory committees allow board members to seek input and advice from community members and promote widespread involvement and participation on issues that affect our district.

Committees include Communications, Facilities Planning, Finance, Human Resources, Student Life, Teaching and Learning, and Technology. Each committee meets regularly, and Cabinet members provide reports at monthly board meetings.

Committee members include community members, parents, board members, district employees and students. New committee members are appointed prior to the start of each school year and serve staggered two-year terms. Committee members must be patrons of Lindbergh Schools.

Advisory Committee Meeting Reports

The Finance Board Advisory Committee met on May 12 to review finance-related Board of Education agenda items and learn more about legislation that is impacting public school funding in Missouri.

During the final Communications Board Advisory Committee meeting of the year, LHS publications students showcased their 2026 yearbook, "All at Once," and celebrated doubling their Instagram following on Lindbergh Lookup. Following the student presentation, Chief Communications Officer Beth Johnston outlined 2026-27 goals.
