About Board Advisory Committees

Board of Education advisory committees allow board members to seek input and advice from community members and promote widespread involvement and participation on issues that affect our district.

Committees include Communications, Facilities Planning, Finance, Human Resources, Student Life, Teaching and Learning, and Technology. Each committee meets regularly, and Cabinet members provide reports at monthly board meetings.

Committee members include community members, parents, board members, district employees and students. New committee members are appointed prior to the start of each school year and serve staggered two-year terms. Committee members must be patrons of Lindbergh Schools.

Advisory Committee Meeting Reports

Committee members had the opportunity to review a draft of the district's Comprehensive Literacy Plan, which is required by state law, and provide feedback. District Literacy Coordinator Dr. Sarah Valter shared a summary of the plan's development process, which took place this school year.
