The National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) is proud to announce 39 school leaders have been named 2026 NAESP National Distinguished Principals (NDPs), including Sappington Elementary School Principal Dr. Ta'Keshia Parker.

On Sunday, October 18, the Lindbergh community will come together for the annual Sunday Night Lights event at Lindbergh High School, giving children battling cancer and other life-threatening illnesses the opportunity to experience a special night under the stadium lights.

Lindbergh Schools invites the community to visit Truman Middle School during the annual SunCrest Fest celebration, tour the newly renovated building, and see firsthand how community support of Prop R 2024 is having a positive impact on student learning.

You are invited to join Superintendent Dr. Lake for a community presentation on Wednesday, October 28 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lindbergh Central Office (9350 Sappington Road). This informational event is open to all parents, staff, and community members.

Lindbergh Schools will host its 2026 Homecoming events from Tuesday, Oct. 6, through Friday, Oct. 9. The week's events will kick off with a flag football tournament, community tailgate, and parade, before the Homecoming football game against Parkway West Friday night.

The Lindbergh High School senior class celebrated three students in the Class of 2027 who have scored a perfect 36 on the ACT this year

The Lindbergh Schools Board of Education voted on Sept. 16 to approve a 2026 estimated tax rate that includes the lowest possible rates for both residential and agricultural property. Lindbergh’s 2026 estimated blended operating tax rate (rounded) is $2.97 per $100 of assessed valuation.

As part of our district’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, we are conducting a survey to evaluate the effectiveness of the Lindbergh Community Education program.

Lindbergh Schools is proud to announce that eight Lindbergh High School seniors have been named Semifinalists in the 72nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program: Aditya Dubey, Elena Haas, Maxwell Harbuck, Violet Larson, Jessica Wang, Braden Wheatley, Connor Williams, and Yuhan Wu.

The Lindbergh Farmers Club has received a generous donation from the St. Louis County Farm Bureau through the Lindbergh Schools Foundation to fund the construction of new raised garden beds at the district farm. The check presentation took place during this week’s St. Louis County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting.

Lindbergh High School has reached an exciting milestone with the approval of our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS).

The Lindbergh Link summer edition is in homes now or on its way to homes in the school district area. 

Lindbergh students are demonstrating high growth and high achievement, consistently outperforming nationwide trends for student academic growth and achievement during the 2025-26  school year. 

Rachel Braaf, a school board member from the Lindbergh Schools Board of Education, has been recognized for achieving both Advanced and Master Certification from the Missouri School Boards’ Association during the MSBA Summer Summit on June 15, 2026

The Lindbergh Schools Board of Education voted 6-0 on June 30 to approve the preliminary 2026-27 school year budget that will support district Compass Goals, maintain current programming to support student learning, and continue a fiscally responsible plan to balance recurring expenses with recurring revenue. 

Lindbergh Schools is proud to be named a recipient of the 2026 Top Workplaces Award, sponsored by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. This is the district’s seventh consecutive year to receive this honor. More than 20 high school students from across the region — including Lindbergh, Parkway, Rockwood, Valley Park, Affton, Brentwood, Mehlville, and North/South Tech — have spent the semester honing durable skills and securing placements with local advanced manufacturing leaders.

Students in Lindbergh High School’s 73rd graduating class celebrated the end of their Lindbergh Schools era, and began their post-high school chapters at the Class of 2026’s graduation ceremony held Wednesday, May 20, at Chaifetz Arena. Students in the class were awarded more than $24 million in scholarships this year, Principal Dr. Eric Cochran said during his remarks

Lindbergh High School, Truman Middle School, and Kennerly Elementary School were certified by Character.org, a leading advocate for cultivating character development throughout America and worldwide, for three of 290 character-centered Promising Practices in schools and organizations.

Lindbergh Schools is pleased to welcome Ben Peterson as Farm Manager for the new Lindbergh Farmers Club, which is scheduled to open in Fall 2027.

Lindbergh Schools celebrated the beginning of construction on a first-of-its-kind PK-12 agricultural STEM learning center on May 6, during a groundbreaking ceremony with students, administrators, Board of Education directors, and construction team members.

Lindbergh High School held its annual signing day on April 30, 2026 in Flyers Gym. Overall, 19 Flyers signed to continue their athletic pursuits at the college level.
