Technology
Lindbergh Schools understands that technology is part of everyone's daily lives. Therefore, it is also part of our daily use in our classrooms and offices. Our students and teachers are continually working on improving their technology skills and their application to learning as well as exploring new opportunities where technology can give our students an edge. The technology department supports the use of technology in all district departments. We provide services that enable the district to select, implement and maintain the highest technology standards possible.

Apps and Websites
Lindbergh Schools uses a variety of district-approved educational apps and websites to support a dynamic, engaging learning experience. As a result of a statewide partnership, our district has teamed up with Education Framework to evaluate every educational app and website we use and ensure they are appropriate for our learning environment.
The EdPrivacy platform automatically reviews the privacy and safety of online applications based on compliance with FERPA, COPPA and state privacy requirements. It utilizes machine learning-based artificial intelligence to create privacy quality scores for thousands of online technology resources commonly used in classrooms across the country. The scores help educators and administrators quickly identify safe online technologies and easily determine which service providers respect and protect student data privacy.
Securly Home
Lindbergh Schools uses Securly to set internet filtering rules for school devices. The district also receives alerts for online activity related to self-harm and bullying. Now, as part of our commitment to keeping students safe, we are providing parents and guardians with access to the free Securly Home app.
Google Workspace for Education
Google Workspace for Education is a set of education productivity tools from Google used by tens of millions of students and teachers around the world. Lindbergh Schools provides and manages Google Workspace for Education accounts for all K-12 students. This allows students to complete assignments, communicate with teachers and learn digital citizenship skills in a safe and secure environment.
Google provides information about the data it collects, as well as how it uses and shares the data from these accounts in its Google Workspace for Education Privacy Notice.
By using their Google Workspace for Education accounts, students have access to Google's Core Services. With parent or guardian consent, students can also access Google's Additional Services.
