Lindbergh Schools is committed to providing the community with relevant, timely communication that promotes transparency, school spirit and a strong foundation of trust. Open, frequent communication is the foundation for a strong school system. The Lindbergh Schools Board of Education has approved several policies related to Communications and School-Community Relations, including:

It is the intent of the district to operate a nonpublic forum and, except as allowed in this procedure, communication from outside groups is prohibited on district property or using district resources. For the purposes of this procedure, communication includes, but is not limited to, signage; verbal announcements using communication equipment; pamphlets; handouts; distribution through district technology; other distribution of information; or the solicitation of information including, but not limited to, political campaigning. This procedure does not prohibit speech in circumstances where it is protected by law.

District communication may be used to share information about the following organizations and/or their activities:

• District-sponsored extracurricular clubs and activities
• Curriculum-related information
• Parent/Guardian Organizations (KMA)
• Booster Organizations (KMB)
• Local/County Governmental Authorities (KNA)
• State/Federal Governmental Authorities (KNC)
• Law Enforcement Authorities (KNAJ)
• Student-initiated organizations recognized by the school
• School and district-sponsored events

All groups affiliated with the district must be recognized by the Board of Education and work collaboratively with the district to achieve its goals. Groups that are political in nature or duplicate services provided by the district will not be permitted to use district resources to share communication.

All content must be consistent with the mission and vision of the district and compliant with district policies, procedures and regulations. Communication will also be evaluated based on the educational value of the content and the age or maturity of students in the intended audience.

The district may control the content of communication as allowed by law. Minimally, communication on district property or using district resources may not include information or materials that:

• Are obscene to minors.
• Are libelous.
• Are pervasively indecent or vulgar (secondary schools) or contain any indecent or vulgar language (elementary schools), as those terms are defined, explained or applied in Policy IGDBA.
• Advertise any product or service not permitted to minors by law.
• Advocate or promote conduct that is unlawful.
• Violate the Student Code of Conduct or advocate in favor of violating the Student Code of Conduct.
• Constitute support for or opposition to a ballot measure or candidate for public office.
• Violate any provision of the district’s non-discrimination policies including, but not limited to, the prohibitions against discrimination, harassment, and retaliation on the basis of race, religion sex, ethnic origin, age, disability, or any other protected category.
• Constitute insulting or fighting words, the very expression of which injures or harasses other people (e.g., threats of violence, defamation of character or of a person's race, religion, sex, ethnic origin, age, disability, or any other protected category).
• Present a clear and present likelihood that, either because of their content or their manner of distribution, they will cause a material and substantial disruption of the proper and orderly operation and discipline of the school or school activities or will cause the commission of unlawful acts or the violation of lawful school procedures.

Lindbergh Schools owns copyright and trademark rights associated with the arch and plane logo, and the word marks for “Lindbergh Schools” and “Lindbergh Flyers.”

Our district is identified by its logo, colors, school names and mascot:

• Logo – Arch and plane with banner or all-text logo

Use of the Lindbergh logo is limited to the district, its schools and affiliated organizations, in order to protect the strength, consistency and integrity of the Lindbergh Schools brand. The logo and “Flyers” identity may not be used by any organization that is not affiliated with Lindbergh Schools.

Lindbergh High School Athletics

The Lindbergh High School Athletics brand guide is available online and provides direction for use of any of the LHS Athletics brand elements. 

When using the LHS Athletics brand elements, all specifications and usage must be met and visually approved by an authorized party within the district or LHS Athletics

Lindbergh Schools has partnered with Peachjar to deliver school-approved fliers directly to your email inbox. Peachjar will be used exclusively for electronic flier distribution, and your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose. Fliers will also be linked from our website and mobile app for easy access.

Peachjar emails are delivered once a week on Tuesday. Fliers submitted by email must be received by Monday at noon to be included in the current week's email. Fliers submitted through the Peachjar online portal will be reviewed for approval on Tuesday morning.

Fliers will be approved or denied according to Lindbergh Schools Procedure KI-AP(2).

Please make sure your flier meets the following design requirements:

• Must be in PDF format
  • If your file is a different format, convert it for free using Smallpdf.
• Cannot exceed 50 MB in file size
  • If your file is larger than 50 MB, compress it for free using Smallpdf.
• Must be 1-4 pages in length
• For best results, design your flier on an 8.5" x 11" document in portrait orientation.
• Embedded links within a flier are not supported.
• For accessibility purposes, flier text will be copied into a description box.
  • Scanned fliers and fonts smaller than 12 point may not be detected.

To keep conversations focused on school news and events, this page is moderated and comments are reviewed by the Lindbergh Schools Communications Department. We ask that you please use respect when commenting on our page. Postings deemed inappropriate for a viewing audience of all ages will removed, including (but not limited to):

• Personal attacks
• Off-topic postings
• Solicitation of products or services
• Racist, sexist, abusive, profane, violent or obscene language
