Become a Sponsor for the LHS Weight Room!

You have an opportunity to promote health and wellness among Lindbergh High School students through a donation to the high school weight room. The weight room is one of the most utilized facilities in Lindbergh School District. Before school, during school and after school, our weight room is a bevy of activity. It is used by both athletes and non-athletes. Classes meet every hour of the school day, and individuals and teams use the facility after school and on weekends. The weight room is also a busy place throughout the summer.

Our present weight room is housed in a newly renovated 5,500 square foot area thanks to the Proposition 4 bond issue which was passed by voters in 2003.

The facility is designed to hold state of the art equipment to help our students develop their bodies and character through discipline, self-motivation and hard work.

We invite you to help us complete this exciting project by providing some much needed equipment for our students in their development as young adults.

Rob Droege, class of 1999, initiated the program with a generous donation of $5,000, which was accompanied by a matching donation from the NFL. Rob chose to donate Olympic style power lifting racks, which the students are already excited about and utilizing daily. Classes, clubs, businesses, community groups and alumni are encouraged to support the weight room fund and help build this first class facility. Individual and group donations are welcome. The Lindbergh Lettermen’s Club (L-Club) donated four new pieces of equipment, but much more is needed to keep Lindbergh competitive with other school districts who continually update their equipment and weight rooms.

How can you be part of this exciting opportunity? It’s easy! Just look through the equipment need list, which was developed by students, staff and the athletic department. Pick out the piece of equipment that you want to see in the weight room.

You can make a donation to cover the entire cost of the equipment, or specify that your donation should be used toward the cost of a piece of equipment.
