The Lindbergh High School Flyerettes received several awards during their participation in the Universal Dance Association summer camp July 8-11 at Tan-Tar-A. The Varsity team won second place in the home routine competition (large varsity division), the Full Out Award, and five spirit sticks. The junior varsity team earned first place in the home routine competition (JV division), the Full Out Award and five spirit sticks. In addition, both teams earned Superior Rankings for their team routines, which qualifies both teams for the UDA Nationals competition in Orlando, Fla. The girls brought home 41 individual blue ribbons and four team blue ribbons as well.
