It was a beautiful day to celebrate the grand opening of Long Elementary School's Outdoor Learning Space! Here are all of the PTO parents and students who volunteered their time and services to make this possible.
Congratulations to the 2013 Lindbergh Schools Excellence in Art winners, who were recognized May 7 during a program at the Lindbergh Schools Auditorium. Students who received the Excellence in Art recognition will have their artwork displayed year-round in the frames and display cases that decorate the district’s auditorium lobby. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners!

The St. Louis Dairy Council recently visited Heather Love’s Family and Consumer Sciences class at Sperreng Middle School to highlight the 300-plus “Got Milk?” ads that wallpaper her classroom. Kelly Maher, nutrition educator from the Dairy Council, took a photo of Mrs. Love and her students wearing milk mustaches to showcase the advertisements. Love has been collecting the ads for several years.
