Thank you for celebrating with us at Sappington today, Sen. Scott Sifton and Dr. Tim Ricker from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education! Dr. Ricker presented Sappington with the Missouri Gold Star School Award, and Sen. Sifton brought a resolution from the Missouri senate. Sappington is one of only 2 elementary schools in Missouri to earn this distinguished honor for academic excellence in 2012-13!
Congratulations to Lindbergh High School senior Brendon Bequette, who recently signed a letter of intent to play college volleyball for Missouri Baptist University. Brendon, son of Cindy and Dennis Bequette, has been playing volleyball for Flyers Coach Kim Onder for four years. His most memorable sports moment was competing at the state level in 2010. At Missouri Baptist University, Brendon will play for Coach John Yehling.
