Thank you for celebrating with us at Sappington today, Sen. Scott Sifton and Dr. Tim Ricker from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education! Dr. Ricker presented Sappington with the Missouri Gold Star School Award, and Sen. Sifton brought a resolution from the Missouri senate. Sappington is one of only 2 elementary schools in Missouri to earn this distinguished honor for academic excellence in 2012-13!
Teachers at Truman, Concord and Sperreng had a little fun with MAP testing preparations this year and surprised their students with “flash mob” dance routines during school assemblies last week.
Lindbergh’s MAP testing window is April 2-27 for students in grades 3-8, and high school students will take their end-of-course assessments later this month in biology, algebra, English 2 and government.
